UPMC Italy is issuing a call for applications for the following fixed-term position: 1 Neurologist (Ref. Neuro/19 TD)

The neurologist manages neurological complications of patients undergoing organ transplants and complex surgeries (cardiac, thoracic, and abdominal surgery) and patients affected with end-stage vital organ diseases. The neurologist is also responsible for pre-op assessment of patients affected with neurological comorbidities and candidates for surgery, for purposes of pre-operative risk stratification and peri-operative management. He/she is also responsible for conducting clinical and translational research projects, and performing an ongoing critical review of the accomplished outcomes.
Other requisites: Good knowledge of the main computer applications, willingness to spend periods of training abroad, strong motivation, flexibility, stress management, problemsolving, communication, interpersonal relationship, and teamwork skills.
The contract offered will be commensurate with the experience and skills of the selected candidate.
