Under the general supervision of the Vice President, Construction and Facilities Management, UPMC International, the Senior Project Manager will represent UPMC (www.UPMC.com) to effectively manage all aspects of the planning, construction and commissioning of all facility renovation and construction projects in Italy and elsewhere as directed. The ideal candidate should demonstrate superior planning abilities and have significant people and project management expertise. S/he should have previous experience in managing design and construction professionals, selecting and appointing vendors, consultants and contractors, and have excellent oral and written communication skills. The Senior Project Manager will work in an established team and cooperate with other managers. The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure that assigned facility design, renovation and construction projects are successfully executed using available resources.

Multitasking, proactivity, reliability, stress management, problem solving, teamwork and strong interpersonal skills as well as availability to travel are also instrumental to the role.
The contract offered will be commensurate with the experience and skills of the selected candidate.
The workplace is Rome but travel throughout Italy will be required. Overseas travel may be required.
