We are seeking a young specialized physician interested in embarking on a fellowship program in the field of thoracic surgery.
Under the supervision of the chief of the Thoracic Surgery and Lung Transplant Unit, the selected candidate will take part in the thoracic surgery and lung transplant procedures including operating room activity, organ procurement and transplant, patient clinical management, and research activity.
The ideal candidate possesses the following requisites: documented clinical and surgical experience in thoracic surgery, transplant surgery, and minimally-invasive surgery.
English proficiency, good knowledge of the main computer applications, willingness to spend periods of training abroad, and stress management, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal relationship, communication, and teamwork skills are also instrumental to the role.
The workplace is Palermo.
