The Physician, Director of Health Care Activities’ Office, follows the Director’s instructions in order to ensure the implementation of health care regulations, and manages all assigned tasks related to litigations that involve the medical examiner. He/she also promotes environmental safety, and prevention of incidents and hospital infections.
Other operational areas include: quality of care; identification and promotion of progressive management and organizational models to efficiently and effectively respond to patients’ needs; draft and revision of policies and procedures on health and safety of staff and patients; Joint Commission International accreditation.
English proficiency, good knowledge of the main computer applications, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, problem-solving, flexibility, and stress management complete the profile.
The workplace is Palermo.
